Half day Preschool Class... Caterpillar Classroom
Our half day class is for children who are at least 3 years by September 1st of the current school year, and potty-trained. This class is a great introduction for students to learn to engage socially and begin their love of learning. In this smaller sized class, we focus on letters, counting, colors, shapes, and name writing and recognition, along with various social skills. The children are given opportunities to color, cut, paint, play with playdough, build with blocks, work puzzles and do many other fun activities. This class meets 9:00 am -11:30 am.
You can choose 2, 3, 4 or 5 days according to availability. This class is limited to 10 children per day. First come, first serve.
A daily schedule is posted in the classroom along with the days/weekly theme. The children are always exploring new things.
Full day Preschool Class ... Butterfly Classroom
In this class, we are focusing on getting our students ready for kindergarten! Part of what we focus on for having them kindergarten ready is letter recognition and letter sounds, counting and number recognition, name writing, sight words and much more. There will be a student evaluation done in the Fall and Spring. In the Spring we will offer parent teacher conference so you will see where your child is at academically and socially before Kindergarten Round Up. Daily activities will include sensory table experiences, in-class science projects, various social skills, daily routines in the classroom such as lining up, walking in line, keeping our hands to ourselves, sharing, following 3 step instructions and various other skills. The children are given daily opportunities to color, cut, paint, create, build, sort, work puzzles, and many other fun activities. This class meets 9:00 am - 3:00 pm. You can choose 2, 3, 4 or 5 days according to availability. This class is limited to 18 per day. First come, first serve. A daily/weekly schedule is posted with the days/week theme. Lots of learning is going to happen here.
Free Toddler Time Play Group (March - May)
Toddler Time is for children who are at least 2 years by September 1st of the current school year. Themed sessions are held every other Friday during the months of March and April. Parents, grandparents or other caregiver and their child will attend class together and engage in age appropriate activities planned by our toddler teacher. Every class offers a fun, theme based experience. Space is limited and registration is nice but not mandatory. Contact us to let us know you are coming or if you have questions. 517-223-4344
